What Poof is
Poof is an iPhone and iPad app that looks through your photo library for exact copies, similar shots, blurry photos, screenshots and large videos, and helps you remove the ones you choose. It is offered by the developer of Poof ("we") through the Apple App Store.
Your photos and your decisions
Your photos are yours. Poof claims no rights over them and never uploads them. Poof suggests what to remove; you decide. Nothing is deleted until you tap the button that says so, and everything it removes goes to Recently Deleted in Photos, where iOS keeps it for 30 days. Check what you are removing before you confirm, and check Recently Deleted if you change your mind.
What is free
The scan, the numbers it shows and the removal of exact copies are free. The rest of Poof is part of Poof Pro.
Poof Pro
Poof Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (weekly or yearly) and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period until you cancel. When a free trial is offered, payment starts when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it does. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account settings, under Subscriptions.
- Lifetime is a single purchase tied to your Apple Account, and it does not renew.
- Purchases are processed by Apple, follow Apple's App Store terms, and can be restored on a new device with Restore purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple.
- Prices may change for new buyers. A lifetime purchase you have already made stays yours; a subscription price change is announced by Apple before it applies.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app outside the App Store, and do not use it in a way that breaks the law where you are.
No warranty
Poof is provided as is. We work hard to keep it reliable and its numbers honest, but we cannot promise it will always be free of errors, and we are not liable for photos you chose to remove or for other damages arising from use of the app, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Updates are posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use Poof after a change means you accept the updated terms.
